Power Transformers is a business unit within Hitachi Energy that manufactures power transformers and reactors up to the highest levels of power and voltage. The unit also offers diagnostics, regeneration, service, and spare parts to customers worldwide. Here, there is expertise in the ultra-high voltage levels required for transmitting large amounts of power over long distances. Additionally, much of the new technology for power transformers is being developed.

Power Transformers is growing, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of our expansion. We are seeking a shift-working Production Leader for Winding Assembly at Power Transformers in Ludvika, who wants to lead and be part of the development of our factory. In the role of production leader, we see that you are communicative and have an easy time creating engagement within the team, while also being driven to develop both the section and your team.

How you will make an impact:

• You will be part of the Power Transformers production unit and be responsible for approximately 20-30 employees, focusing on quality and performance goals.
• Ensure that you and your team work safely and securely.
• Lead and build your team with a positive attitude and expertise in your area.
• Be responsible and stay updated on the delivery plan to act in the best way to meet deadlines and goals.
• You will be responsible for driving the department's improvement work as well as economic and personnel responsibility.
• You share Hitachi Energy's core values regarding safety and integrity, which means you take responsibility for your own actions while feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business.

Your background:

• We prefer that you have previous leadership experience as a manager or team leader, or have had the opportunity to lead others in projects.
• As a leader, you are driven, have a strong desire to improve, and the ability to motivate others. You possess leadership qualities and the ability to create a common vision and the desire to build a successful team.
• It is important that you can handle changes with energy and joy while spreading engagement to your team. You are quality- and results-focused with good communication skills and a flexible holistic view.
• It is advantageous if you have a technical education or equivalent work experience as well as a good understanding of production flows.
• Since you will be working both locally and in an international environment, good knowledge of English is required, as well as good knowledge of Swedish.
